Ultimately responsible for the commercial direction
As Commercial Director, you are responsible for the overall commercial direction of Top Work Groep. You develop and oversee the commercial strategy, build long-term relationships with clients and continuously seek out new commercial opportunities.
You have a visible presence in the market, visit clients, negotiate partnerships and ensure existing relationships continue to grow. You also lead the organisation’s commercial activities and work closely with the management team, recruiters, planners and account managers.
You are a true entrepreneur who takes responsibility and enjoys helping our organisation continue to grow.
What will you do?
Strategy & growth
- Developing, implementing and overseeing the commercial strategy.
- Drawing up account plans and commercial growth strategies.
- Responsible for revenue growth and commercial targets.
- Identifying market developments, opportunities and commercial trends.
- Reporting to the management team on commercial results, opportunities and developments.
Clients & market
- Actively winning new clients in glass horticulture, fresh produce, logistics and production.
- Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
- Independently conducting commercial discussions, preparing quotes and negotiating contracts.
- Planning and carrying out client visits.
- Building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Representing Top Work Groep at networking events, trade fairs and business events.
Team & organisation
- Leading and coaching commercial staff.
- Working closely with recruitment, planning and operations to provide clients with the best possible service.
- Monitoring client satisfaction and service quality.
A commercial leader who knows the temporary staffing sector
We’re looking for someone who can add value from day one: commercially astute, entrepreneurial and with a proven track record in the flexible staffing sector.
What you bring
Our requirements for this role
- HBO-level working and thinking ability.
- At least 5 years’ demonstrable commercial experience in the temporary staffing sector (essential).
- Experience in a commercial management or executive role.
- Excellent knowledge of business development, account management and client relationship management.
- Experience in contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication and commercial skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, independence and a results-driven approach.
- Experience in achieving commercial targets.
- Good organisational skills.
- Experience managing and coaching employees.
- Good command of Dutch.
- Full UK driving licence.
Additional strengths
These will help you stand out even more
- Knowledge of the NBBU collective labour agreement and the laws and regulations governing the flexible staffing sector.
- Experience with Plan4Flex, Easyflex or similar software.
- A relevant network in glasshouse horticulture, AGF, logistics or production.
- Good command of English.
